UPDATE: Rep. DeFazio introduced legislation for the Wild Rogue in November 2011, and Senators Wyden and Merkley introduced Rogue legislation in December 2011. Please consider writing to Rep. DeFazio and Oregon's Senators to thank them for this effort and ask that they work in 2012 to get the bill passed (addresses below). Click here for talking points.

Congress introduced legislation in 2008 and 2009 to safeguard the creeks and roadless forests of the Lower Rogue River. Unfortunately, Congress didn't get the job done before adjourning in December 2010. We will continue to advocate for these spectacular wildlands and this extraordinary river until we achieve the protections they deserve. Please speak up for this national treasure and ask Oregon leaders to protect these public lands and waters for all of America.

TAKE ACTION: Please sign our petition and add your personal message as to why you want to protect this special place. Thank you!
